Child Sponsorship

Vineyard India Child Sponsorship program changes the lives of many children every year. Our vision of creating a better world for our children works on the simple yet powerful principle that the best way to change the life of a needy child is to change the world in which he/she lives!

Our experience over the last 17 years has shown us that no amount of intervention in the life of a child can have lasting effects as long as the child’s surroundings remain unchanged. But when the immediate environment of a needy child like the family, ambiance, and community issues are addressed, you are helping to change the context in which the child is brought up. Child sponsorship, therefore, changes a child’s life by changing the world to which he/she belongs.

Child Sponsorship creates a network of partners, who in the long term help build a self-reliant and sustainable community that brings out the best in every child. By working not just with children, but also with

their families and communities, Vineyard India helps create an atmosphere that children can make a new life a reality. We ensure that your money is being invested not just in the life of one child but also in the lives of other children within your child’s community!

A contribution from Rs.15000/- to Rs.20000/- (includes tuition, transport, textbooks, and uniform) therefore addresses issues that promote the overall development of the child. Sponsored children along with their community are helped through education, training, and awareness programs.

Along with this, newer business opportunities are generated among poor families, so that someday, they can stand on their own feet and continue to provide for the coming generations. Child Sponsorship is therefore a long-term commitment, and its effects are sustainable and long-lasting!

As a sponsor, you get the satisfaction of being a very important part of this whole new world! Through your relationship with your child, you participate in the development of your child’s community! You can keep in touch with your child through letters and personal visits and become a part of your child’s world! Child Sponsorship is therefore a long-term, meaningful relationship between you and a needy child!

Old Age Pension Program

Vineyard India has started a new program in the year 2010 for helping the old and destitute people by extending financial support towards their personal needs monthly. Presently Vineyard India is supporting 20 beneficiaries by giving Rs200/- to Rs.500/- per month. More than 50 people are awaiting pension. Due to our financial constraints, we are limited to a few. You can make a difference in the lives of these old people if you can make a decision right now to support them.

As many of us see the sad experiences of the old being neglected, it has been a long desire of Vineyard India to also feed them regularly. If you would like to be a part of this endeavor in supporting the program, please write us for additional information.

Note all donations towards this cause are tax-deductible according to Income Tax Act 1961. Vineyard India is granted Income Tax status vide orders bearing number F.No.DIT(E)/HYD/80G/19(10) / 10-11. Please send us an intimation along with your full address after making the online transfer to victindia@gmail.com so that we can send you an official receipt along with a copy of the 80G.
